โ...This course didnโt just reaffirm my purposeโit took it up a notch! Reinforcing a core value that I live by i.e. Transformational learning happens when we commit to building ourselves with such intention that our inner wisdom and intuition rise to the surface, transcending frameworks and models. Thatโs the real pursuit. Moving beyond the mechanics ofย whatย we know and tapping into theย essenceย of who we are. Our values, our experiences, our authentic potential. When we lead with curiosity, authenticity becomes more accessible.ย The journey becomes less about โdoingโ and more about โbeingโ. Itโs a powerful alignment of who you are with how you show up for others.ย This has been invaluable and the best decision. Thank you for doing what you do, Wai Kย ๐โ
โโฆThe CMPC program led by Master Coach Wai K would certainly rank as being one of the most effective, powerful and transformational programs I have attended.โ

THE DIRECTION OF COACHING
The difference between beginning coaches and experienced coaches lies in the direction of coaching. You will learn how to evoke shifts in your client that will transform their mindset, thinking, behaviours and habits
MASTERING LISTENING

AGREEMENT MASTERY
Masterful coaches excel in this competency. They help their client find purpose, meaning and clarity of their goals by exploring the clientโs goal ecology. The outcome of the session for the client is normally only a remedy of their problem.
EVOKING AWARENESS
Questions are not the only way to evoke awareness. Beginning coaches predominantly rely on asking questions towards this end. Masterful coaches use other methods to complement their questions. Discover these methods to reach mastery.
GROUP COACHING
Expand your expertise by learning how to coach a group. Discover the additional skills needed to work with a group of clients as opposed to just one-to-one.
INQUIRE VS EXPLORE
Discover the distinction between Inquiring and Exploring to make a huge difference to your coaching questions. Masterful coaches do more exploration than inquiry. They get to the heart of the issue to make change permanent.
LEARNING & GROWTH
Masterful coaches uses four modalities to make learning and growth permanent. Beginning coaches usually use only one. Discover the the three additional modalities that will take your coaching to the next level.
MASTERING COACHING TOOLS
Learn how to use 360 feedback tools to coach your client and discover traps to avoid and how to address clientโs concerns and resistance.
MASTERING PRESENCE
All coaches know that holding and maintaining presence is the key to listening actively. Not many are able to execute this knowledge.Learn what masterful coaches do to maintain presence and identify what to listen to.
ROLE MODELING
Listen to masterful coaches in action using a myriad of tools such as metaphors, silence, clarifiers and how they expertly display the eight ICF coaching competencies in different situations.

โThanks very much Wai K for an unforgettable learning experience over the last few months. The MCC coach program has been such a wonderful learning opportunity and I have learnt so much from you and from all of the questions and case studies my fellow students have brought to the sessions.โ
Your program was incredibly rich and provided a comprehensive overview of what mastery looks like at the MCC level. What was particularly useful about the program was the combination of the deep dive into the growth required as coaches in relation to competencies, mindsets and ways of being โ as well as the experiential learning opportunities to put the new knowledge into action. Lastly, your depth of experience coupled with your ability to create such an inclusive and engaging learning environment has made this one of the very best programs Iโve had the opportunity to participate in. I thoroughly enjoyed being part of such a welcoming group of coaches who offered encouragement and connection throughout. I highly recommend this program to coaches who are looking to deepen their practice, expand their coaching mastery and who themselves are ready to go on a truly transformative learning journey. Thanks once again Wai K! Bridget Blackford (MCC), Leadership Coach, Australia.
โWitnessing him coach participants allowed us to observe mastery in actionโthe fluidity, presence, deep inquiry, and partnering that characterizes MCC-level coaching. These demonstrations brought the competencies to life in ways theory alone never could.โ
I completed the Distinguished Master Coach program at JMC Coach Mastery Academy, and it has been a truly transformative learning experience. Wai K is an exceptional master coach educator who brings remarkable depth and authenticity to his teaching. His approach goes far beyond theoretical instructionโhe embodies the coaching mastery he teaches. What stood out most was his commitment to active listening and responsive teaching. He began each Saturday session with dedicated Q&A time, addressing queries that arose from our peer practice sessions throughout the week, creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
Wai K's openness to inquiry consistently revealed the profound depth of his experience as an MCC coach, mentor coach, ICF assessor, and coach supervisor. Whether addressing nuanced competency distinctions or sharing insights from his decades of practice, he drew from expertise that only someone operating at the highest levels could offerโevident in his ICF Circle of Distinction (2019) and APAC Best Coach Gold Award (2021).
What truly elevated the program was the introduction of two external MCC coach assessors who provided preliminary performance evaluations based on our practices during class sessions. These assessments gave us invaluable insights into our learning journey to become more qualified coaches.
The program was further enriched by Wai K's live coaching demonstrations during our sessions. Witnessing him coach participants allowed us to observe mastery in actionโthe fluidity, presence, deep inquiry, and partnering that characterizes MCC-level coaching. These demonstrations brought the competencies to life in ways theory alone never could.
Wai K's structured yet flexible approach, combined with meaningful assignments, group mentoring, and rigorous feedback from external assessors, created a comprehensive learning journey. His feedback was always constructive, specific, and growth-oriented, challenging us to continuously elevate our coaching presence and skills.
I wholeheartedly recommend the Distinguished Master Coach program at JMC Coach Mastery Academy to any PCC-level coach aspiring to achieve mastery in their coaching practice. For course details, visit jmccoachmastery.com.

I took on this MCC course out of curiosity. ๐คจ After all, one may ask, what's really behind the "MCC-level" of coaching? Yes, I expect it to challenge my skills. I didnโt expect it to challenge my ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐ฉ๐ฎ as a coach. The uncomfortable truth about coaching?
๐กGood intentions can still get in the way.
For years, I thought I was holding space. MCC made me realise how often I was actually filling it. Completing the MCC course has been one of the most humbling experiences of my coaching path so far. Just when you think youโve found your rhythm, you begin to notice the subtle blind spots ๐ง- the ones that quietly shape how you listen, respond and hold space. This journey has reminded me that mastery isnโt about doing more.
A few reflections that stayed with me:

Mastery is also restraint. To say less, but mean more. To ask what truly matters- without overcomplicating, without over-processing. It sounds simple, but it requires immense discipline and awareness. Deep gratitude to Wai K. Leong, ICF MCC, ACTC at JMC Coach Mastery Academy for the guidance, challenge and generosity in holding such a powerful learning space. ๐๐ผ Thank you for stretching my thinking and sharpening my awareness in ways that will continue to shape my coaching journey.
Fern Deng, PCC
Iโm deeply grateful for the unforgettable journey over the past few months. Participating in your MCC coach program has been nothing short of transformative not just in terms of learning, but in how I now see and approach coaching.
What made this experience truly stand out was the way you wove together deep conceptual insight with real, practical application. The exploration of ICF competencies, mindsets, and presence went far beyond theory, it challenged me to reflect, stretch, and grow in ways I hadnโt anticipated. The live practice, thought-provoking case studies, and the generous sharing from fellow participants created a powerful learning space I looked forward to every week.
Your mastery as a coach, paired with your warmth and inclusive facilitation style, created an atmosphere where growth felt both safe and expansive. It was one of the most engaging and enriching programs Iโve had the privilege to be part of and I leave it feeling more grounded, inspired, and connected to my path as a coach.
To any coach seeking to deepen their craft, elevate their presence, and embark on a meaningful journey of transformation, I wholeheartedly recommend this ICF accredited level 3 coaching program to anyone seeking to pursue their MCC credentials.
